Osprey:
Finding the Right Sales Director

Osprey Group, an independent, British company. For 25 years they’ve been delivering some of the world’s heaviest assets and largest abnormal loads, providing specialist logistics of all kinds – here in the UK and internationally.

 

Osprey were building out their Senior Leadership Team. Ready for a real growth drive after establishing themselves as one of the go to logistics business in the UK. After having a couple of bad experiences (who hasn’t!) and understanding how imperative this role was they got in contact with us.

 

Using the Job Success Analysis, they measured how well all applicants met all the requirements for the Sales Director role. This report is used to quickly identify the best candidates from the overall assessment score. Benefits include, saving time, interviewing the best applicants and being aware of strengths and potential derailers.

 

Along with the Traits & Definitions Report which measured the candidates core values & how well these aligned with Osprey’s values. These two reports allowed Osprey to make the best decision possible when selecting their new Sales Director.

 

Two years on, the same Sales Director is still with the business and they’ve grown in headcount by 20 seats since 2019!
